Jordan the instructor from the Miles City Waterworks Art Museum explains what to do next to finish off the Raku firing process.Tara Egeness finishes off the Raku firing process by slowly dunking her piece into a tub of water.The ceramics have been heated up to 2000 degrees and have a nice glaze on them.  They will be placed into the trash bins with straw to continue the process.Tai Sokoloski and Colter Bachmeier man the trash cans as Reese Holst and Caleb Mitchell fill them with straw as the pieces from the kiln go straight into the bins to continue the firing process.
