Make people clean up their yards

Dear Editor:

The headlines in the Ranger-Review dated Sunday, May 18 –– City talks parking woes. Now the city officials want to put ‘another ordinance’ on the books. We have a parking ordinance on the books. We have a parking ordinance now that states: no vehicle can be parked on the street for more than 72 hours then, has to be moved.

There are many places in town where there are motor homes, trailers, cars and pickups that have been parked in the same place for months! This is the ordinance that needs to be enforced now, before another ordinance is added.

Let’s focus on addressing this problem and make people clean up their yards and vacant lots, such as the one on the corner of Taylor and Bell. I doubt the councilmen would want to live next door to some of these eyesores.
