Thanks for your attention and support

Dear Editor and Voters of Wibaux and Dawson Counties,

I wish to thank everyone who gave me the time to listen to my explanations on the issues that I support in the coming General Election. It was a rather humbling experience as I learned about many of the problems you have with government. (I complained because I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet). I am not going to trash talk Alan Doane and any other past or present office holder.

Many have different solutions to our problems than me. I am hoping to give voters a choice in the direction we proceed. It is far too easy to say one every issue that we don’t have the money. Very few people would get married, go to school, or try to improve the lives of their family or much less the community if we said we can not afford it.

My message when I started was to increase spending for roads and water systems, to provide a less burdensome tax on needed government spending and most importantly to increase the opportunity and welfare of the less fortunate. I will not accept any pay as I intend to donate all my pay to the Dawson County Food Bank.

To end this, I can truthfully say that I do not hate anyone or anything. Sometimes I think the best things in life are a good cup of coffee and clean pair of socks.

I am best explained as a not so good standing Catholic, a little beyond the Pale Irish-American and a liberal  democrat. I will not change much from that if elected you Representative.

I believe I was born in, raised in, fought for, and would have died for the greatest country in the world, the United States of America. Hoping for your vote on November 8.

Thank you,

Mike Ruddy
