Wash Your Hands performed by Huntley Project School 5th graders

Dawson County Health Department Public Health Emergency Preparedness coordinator Jennifer Fladager and her twin sister Janet Morgenstern, a fifth grade teacher at Huntley Project School joined efforts to create a project to promote influenza prevention through the Dawson County Health Department. Fladager spoke to the students in her sister’s classroom about the history of influenza, explained pandemics, gave them statistics on flu in Montana, and told them what the video needed to highlight.

The students created the song “Wash Your Hands” to Beyonce’s “All the Single Ladies.” The kids came up with the story line and did all of the singing on the track. They are hoping the video will go viral.
