Ann Augusta (Easton) Zorn, age 81, of Glendive passed away at the Glendive Medical Center on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Ann was born on July 26, 1939 in Stillwater, Minn., the daughter of Bertha Augusta (Edwins) and Robert F. Stevenson. She was raised with her mother and father Philip Ramsey Easton, sisters Judy, Mary, Linda and brother John in Stillwater, Minn.

Ann graduated from Stillwater High School with the class of 1957. On April 15, 1959, Ann was united in marriage to Richard James Zorn in Ames, Iowa. Dick and Ann were married for 49 years at the time of Dick’s passing on October 11, 2008.

Ann and family followed Dick through his railroad career from Stillwater, Minn. to Mandan, N.D., Glendive and finally to Billings where they retired.

Ann spent her life being a homemaker, mother and grandmother. Ann enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching and carrying on the tradition of making the Christmas stockings for all of the new arrivals to the family. This tradition was passed down from her mother Bertha.

Grandma will always be remembered for her meatballs, chocolate chip pie, homemade fudge and her bridge and Christmas cookies.

Ann worked as the secretary at Our Savior Lutheran Church for 10 years. Ann volunteered as youth bowling coach for over 20 years. Ann loved watching football and hockey. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. They made many memories together.

Ann moved to her retirement apartment at Grandview in Glendive in May of 2016, where she enjoyed connecting again with old friends, making new ones, her coffee group and the wine ladies.

Ann’s parents; sister, Judy; nephew, Ryan; brother-in-law, Jeff Matthews; son, Michael; and husband, Dick preceded her in death.

Ann leaves behind son Steve (Coral) and their children Jordan and Nickolas of Glendive, Tim (Heather) and their children Travis and his son Grayson of Las Vegas, Nev., Shelby and Elizabeth of Billings, Amy (Scott) Miller of Oregon City, Ore., and their son Colby of Williston, Brian and his children Matthew, Riley and his son Gunther of Billings. Ann also leaves behind siblings Mary (Bob) Liberty of Stillwater, Minn., Linda Matthews of Olympia, Wash., brother-in-law Bruce Johnson of Las Lunes, N.M., and John (Pat) Easton of Palm Springs, Calif., along with numerous nieces and nephews.
