Go to the polls to voice your preference

Dear Editor,

Words have power. How something is said can either incite violence or change an opinion. We have the power to change what is happening today with our vote.

I believe violence, bigotry and hate are contributing factors in toxic rhetoric from the left and on social media. Louis Frankkhan recently called for the extermination of Jews. Maxine Waters told her followers to push back on Conservatives, and get in their faces. Hillary states, “you cant be civil to those on the right, until they give you what you want’. Nancy Pelosi says, in reference to someone getting killed or hurt, “if there is collaterol damage, so be it”. Evil hate filled speech gives permission to those with murderous intent to act on them. This has to stop! It is destroying all of us.

If you don’t like President Trump, so what? He is your duly elected President whether you like it or not. I may not care for his abrasive personality, but I do care about this countries safety, soverignty and the future of my children and grandchildren, and so should every patriotic American. I appreciate President Trumps integrity and love for this country and her people.

When the President says, “fake news is the enemy of the people”, I believe what he really means is, “fake news is the enemy of free thinking people”. He is calling out journalists who forget to practice fair and balanced reporting. Those who gloss over the truth in favor of their own bias agenda.

When does what you say cross the line of public decency? When is enough enough? We are all entitled to our opinion, but if you prefer to harbor hate, resentment and use lies to destroy peoples lives, careers and future, you have gone too far. Don’t discount we who don’t agree with your discontent. Evil and disunity will never replace what is true and right.

Go to the polls to voice your preference, and please, keep the hateful rhetoric to yourself.
