Patricia “Pat” H. Baker, age 88, of Glendive passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Wibaux County Nursing Home in Wibaux.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time at her request. Interment will be held in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery where Pat will be reunited with her husband, Jack. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Pat was born on December 16, 1930 in Glendive, a daughter of Max and Margaret (Seeberger) Feisthamel. She was raised and educated in Glendive, graduating high school from Dawson County High School with the class of 1948. A few years after graduating high school Pat married the love of her life, Jack Baker, on April 21, 1952 in Glendive. Glendive was their home and they were grateful to start their lives together here and raise their family here as well. Throughout the years Pat became known for her excellent homemaking. She took pride in her home and liked to keep it looking nice. She loved planting flowers in the spring and watching them bloom all summer. She was also a great cook and no one ever left hungry!

While Jack began his career with Montana Dakota Utilities Pat stayed at home raising their children (a job she thoroughly loved). Pat had always enjoyed watching sports on the television, but as her children grew older she loved it even more-so to be able to cheer them on with their own sporting events. This love grew more still as she later began to cheer for all her grandchildren. Pat loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and was exceptionally proud of all of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents, Max and Margaret; one brother, Bob Feisthamel; and one sister, Annette Haggerty.

Pat is survived by her children, Mike (Donna) Baker of Glendive, Curt Baker of Glendive, and Jill (Mike) Skillestad of Glendive; three grandchildren, Mindy Baker of Billings, Whitney Skillestad of Glendive, and Ashley (Jakeb) Scheetz of Glendive; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Erickson of Glendive and Bonnie Broeder of Glendive; and numerous nieces and nephews.
