Patricia “Pat” Moline, age 87, of Glendive passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Glendive Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Yellowstone River Inn in Glendive. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Pat was born on October 3, 1931 in Belgrade, Mont., a daughter of Raymond “Irish” and Sadie (Guss) Walker. She was raised and educated in Scobey, Mont. and graduated from Scobey High School with the class of 1949. Following her high school education she was accepted into the University of Montana in Missoula. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1953 and she was a proud graduate. While attending university she met her future husband, LeRoy Moline. They were later united in marriage on May 23, 1953 in Scobey and to this union two daughters were born, Monica and Paula.

Shortly after their marriage LeRoy was stationed overseas and during that time Pat remained in Scobey. Upon his honorable discharge from military service Pat and LeRoy moved to Milwaukee, Wis. for LeRoy’s dental schooling. Finally in 1960 the couple moved to Glendive where they have remained since. Pat was always honored to be a lifelong resident of the state of Montana.

Throughout her life Pat always remained very active in her community. Over the years she was a member of the AAUW, PEO and the Friends of the Library. She was also a member of the University of Montana Alumni Association.

In her spare time Pat loved socializing around town and attending as many Missoula events as possible. She loved traveling and some of her favorite places were Ireland, Japan and England - to name a few.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond “Irish” and Sadie; and her favorite son-in-law, Jeff Webb.

Pat is survived by her husband, LeRoy Moline of Glendive; her daughters, Monica Webb and Paula Moline both of Glendive; and two grandchildren, Sarah Spangle of Billings and Collin Spangle of Missoula.

Memorials in Pat’s name may be made to the Friends of the Library at 209 S. Kendrick Ave., Glendive, MT 59330 or to the University of Montana Foundation at 950 Arthur Ave., Missoula, MT 59812.
