On Tuesday, September 11th, the Alzheimer’s Association will be presenting an education program on the basics of Alzheimer’s and dementia. This program is designed to help families and community members gain a better understanding of this disease. This program will cover the basics of Alzheimer’s and dementia and provide a general overview for people who are facing a diagnosis as well as those who wish to be informed. The program is here at the center from 1:30-3:00.

Congratulations to the winners of the pinochle tournament that was held on Friday August 31st: first place--Agnes Kinney and Velma Kinsey; second place--Kay Arellano and Kent Wangsness; third place--Teena Siegle and Mary Bronson; fourth place--Dee Hall and Stella Bakken. The winners of the activities held this week were: whist--Velma Kinsey; pinochle--Stella Bakken
