On Jan. 7, 2021 at 7 p.m., there will be a River Road Irrigation Pipeline Board meeting at the Dawson County Courthouse Conference Room.

The regularly scheduled public meetings of the Dawson County Commissioners are held at 10 a.m. on the first Tuesday of the month and at 5:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month.

Anyone wishing to meet with the commissioners can either call or make an appointment to be put on the agenda. Normally, at least one member of the board will be present in the office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.

The commissioners agenda is posted on the website at www.dawsoncountymontana. com and posted on the door of the commissioner’s office at the courthouse by Friday noon before the Tuesday sessions.

The fair manager is in the office at the courthouse every Monday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.. - - - - -

The Dawson County Commissioners have announced the following updates in protocol for county offices:

• The Senior Center is closed along with congregate lunch service, but the Meals On Wheels program will continue as normal. If a meal is needed call the Health Department at (406) 377-5213

• The Dawson County Health Department will remain open but please call ahead before visiting the Health Department

• All other County offices will be open and the public is highly encouraged to conduct business over the phone, mail and/or electronically if possible.

• The Library is open for pickup service only.

• The Dawson County Correctional Facility will remain closed to all visitors.

• The Dawson County Urban Transportation buses encourage riders to wear masks while on the bus.

• All county boards need to be posted and open to the public in a venue that allows social distancing. Conference rooms remain available for public reservations but capacity will be limited.
