In an effort to show our support for local businesses during an uncertain time, the Ranger-Review has developed the Distance Socially, Shop Locally Glendive campaign to encourage local residents to continue to shop locally.

The campaign includes a new facebook group where shoppers can post – up to once per day – an item purchased from a local business. Facebook users are enouraged to make the post on their individual facebook page, tag the local business and share to the “Distance Socially, Shop Locally Glendive” facebook group.

Each week we will draw a winner from the week’s submissions and that person will win a gift certificate to a local business.

We encourage you to get creative! Contact businesses that may not be open to the public, order online, buy gift certificates, shop early for Christmas presents, order food for takeout or delivery.

This is the perfect time to share some of your great Glendive shopping finds. That said, we encourage you to comment about your purchases. Let us know why you love shopping locally!

Ranger-Review employees are not eligible to win prizes, but we will share photos of our purchases as well. After all, we love what our community has to offer and want to see our small town businesses continue to thrive!
