Douglas Joseph Pisk, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at his home in Glendive.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Doug was born on December 22, 1961 in Big Timber, Mont., a son of Joseph and Frances (Roald) Pisk. He was raised and educated in Glendive, attending the Amo School and later Dawson County High School.

Following his high school education he worked on the family ranch with his father until they sold the ranch and Doug’s health began to deteriorate. Doug then moved into town at which time he began collecting toy tractors and antiques. Although he always kept a close eye on the cattle market and the local sales. Doug enjoyed visiting with people and he will always be remembered as a gentle soul who cared deeply for his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Frances; and one brother-in-law, Patrick Schubert.

Doug is survived by his sister, Deb Olson of Glendive; his brother, Kris (Vickie) Pisk of Galesburg, Ill.; two nieces, Joie Schubert of Shakopee, Minn. and Patti (Greg) Forcier of Wheaton, Minn.; and his great nieces and nephews, Jonathan and Nicholas Pisk, and Courtney, Ashlynn, Patrick, and Peyton Forcier.
