Officer Tessa Hopper of the Glendive Police Department and Deputy Matt Cornell of the Dawson County Sherrif’s Department took a vehicle into evidence on Friday morning. Authorities were alerted when an unidentified male appeared slumped over and unresponsive in the vehicle. The man was taken into custody, the vehicle tagged and towed away by the authorities. Sherrif’s deputies have been assisting the GPD as the department has experienced a severe shortage of patrol officers recently.
