Last Thursday Olivia and I went to The Attic and did some shopping. We had coffee with some of the volunteers while we were at The Attic. Then we had lunch at the Pizza Hut with some of the women I had worked with at WBI a few years ago (over 20 years ago).. We did a lot of visiting.. After a good lunch, Olivia went with me to do grocery shopping. We had a busy day like always.

Saturday morning, Tana was at my place helping me with a few things. She bought out some baked goodies for us to eat and left some for later.

My condolences go to the family of Martha McCloy who passed away August 27, 2012. We will always remember her baking delicious cakes for our coffee parties and going to her home. She was a very likable person to know.

The last Hodges Reunion was held in 1994 at the Knights of Columbus Hall. A potluck lunch was served to over 150 people. The afternoon began with Tammy Deines giving the beforedinner prayer. Attending to the gust book were Barbara, Dawn and Sarah Anderson. The door prizes and other prizes were given out during the afternoon. The couple married the longest was Mr. & Mrs. Elmond Anderson, The couple with the most grandchildren was Mr. & Mrs. James Witkowski, the couple with the most children was Mr. & Mrs. Ted Tennant, the oldest person in attendance was Alida Herigstad, and the person traveling the greatest distance was Carroll Handran.

The afternoon was spent looking at old pictures and a lot of visiting was done. Mr. & Mrs. Carl Crooks brought pictures and other books that proved to be interesting to everyone. In addition, there was a group of old and new pictures brought by Ava L. Anderson.

Their was people from many states there, Oregon, Iowa, California, North Dakota, Illinois, Wyoming, Minnesota and other states. We all had a wonderful time visiting with people that we knew and some we just met.
