Ruth (Nissley) Mullet passed away on October 23, 2019 in Great Falls at the age of 94.

A memorial service was held on November 2, 2019 at the Redtop Church in Bloomfield with pastors Joe Young, Tanner Ripley and Jeff Warix officiating,

Ruth was born on October 8, 1925, the youngest child of seven born to Daniel and Lydia (Yoder) Nissley of Bloomfield. Ruth and her future husband, Ernest Mullet, both grew up in the Bloomfield community. No matter where life would take them this community would always be home.

Ernie and Ruth were married on June 25, 1948. They had nine children, including two sets of twins. Ernie was adventurous and their life together took them to live in Kansas and Northern Florida before returning to the Bloomfield community in 1978 to farm.

Ruth was a woman of faith. She followed Christ as her Savior as a young girl and her trust in the God of the Bible sustained her throughout her life, through good times and hard times, and was a testimony to others.

Family was also very important to Ruth. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker, and her home was always a warm and welcoming place for family and friends, with plenty of good food. When her mobility became limited Ruth continued to maintain relationships via cell phone and iPad. She enjoyed Facebook which allowed her to keep up with what was happening in the lives of her loved ones.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Ernest; and her siblings, Barbara Chupp, Dave Nissley, Kate Hostetler, Rufus Nissley, Ann Kauffman, Rudy Nissley and a foster sister, Rosella White.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Lloyd—1947-2015) Slabach of Great Falls, Byron Mullet of Glendive, Merle (Connie) Mullet of Bloomfield, Marla (Dan) Hershberger of Great Falls, Debbie (Jeff) Warix of Bunker Hill, Ill., Vic (Brenda) Mullet of Laurel, Gladene (Wes--1955-2007) Senner of Great Falls, Eddie (Evonne) Mullet of Birmingham, Ala., and Edie (Terry) Miller of Signal Mountain, Tenn. Her memory is also lovingly honored by 32 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren.
