The Senior Center will be closed on Friday, December 31st in observance of the New Year’s Holiday.

INTRODUCING BAL-A-VIS-X: If you are looking for something new to try, Linda Cunningham is now teaching BAL-A-VIS-X at the center on Tuesday mornings from 9am-10am. BAL-A-VIS-X is a brain exercise that helps with balance, stability, getting centered and focused. It also helps in building new brain connections. This brain exercise has also been used to help those who have a had a stroke, have ADD (attention deficit disorder), or those who may suffer with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).

Congratulations to the following winners of the pinochle tournament held on Thursday, Dec. 16: 1st place: Dee Hall and Velma Kinsey; 2nd place: Joni Anderson and Nancy Schipman; 3rd place: Tom Toomey and Gary Schlenz; 4th place: Mary Kutzler and Shirley Erhart.

The following were winners for the activities held this week: Pinochle-Kent Wangsness.

The noon congregate meal is served daily, Monday through Friday at 12 p.m. If you would like to join us for a meal, please call the center The Day Before at 377-3791 to reserve a meal.
