The Center will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the 4th of July holiday. We would like to wish all of you a happy and safe 4th of July!

We are happy to announce that Dawn Bryhn has joined our team as our new kitchen assistant. With her coming on board we are now back to full staff once again. Welcome to the team, Dawn!

The Sagebrush Readers book club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. The book for July is “The Teacher’s Funeral” written by Richard Peck. For those who do not have a book yet, books can be picked up at the center.

The following were winners for the activities held this week: pinochle - Gary Schlenz; marbles - Scott Harkins and Velma Kinsey; pinochle – Shirley Erhart.

Next week’s Activities: exercise – Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.; Pinochle - Thursday at 1 p.m.; marbles/ golf – Wednesday at 1 p.m. For more information or to get signed up please contact the center at 377-3791.

The noon congregate meal is served daily, Monday through Friday at 12 p.m. If you would like to join us for a meal, please call the center the day before at 377-3791 to reserve a meal.

Next week’s menu: Monday - CLOSED; Tuesday - chicken tetrazzini; Wednesday - Swiss steak; Thursday - BBQ pulled pork sandwich; Friday - spaghetti and meatballs.
