Jefferson Elementary School staff members held a “reverse parade” at the school Friday night, giving their students an opportunity to ride by in vehicles and be greeted by their teachers. Students waved and cheered on their teachers.

Above: JES teachers held up their name signs so they could be easily spotted by their students. Right: Some staff members, like para educator Janice Opp, held signs offering messages to students.

Bottom: Second grade teacher Melissa Skillestad greeted students in a dinosaur costume, part of the school’s dino-mites theme.
