Terry Lee Dey, age 61, of Billings, formerly of Glendive, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2021 at the Billings Clinic in Billings.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to -7 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Silha Funeral Home in Glendive. Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021 in Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive. Following services, a luncheon will be held at the Moose Lodge. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Terry was born on August 31, 1959 in Glendive, the eldest child of Joseph Jr. and Mildred (McGaughey) Dey. He was raised and educated in Glendive, graduating from Dawson County High School with the class of 1979.

He worked for Gibbs Ranch for awhile, but he made his career as a truck driver. He drove truck for Suhr Transport, Carquest, Cenex Transportation and Coon Trucking, retiring from Coon Trucking due to health issues.

Terry was a member of the Glendive Moose Lodge. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, driving around town and spending time with his family and many friends.

Terry was a simple man with a generous heart. He was always there to support his family and friends.

His dialysis nurses will always remember him as their guardian angel. He would show up early before they arrived to work to make sure they arrived to work safely.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Dey Jr.; paternal grandparents, Joseph Dey Sr. and Ella Dey; maternal grandparents, Isaac Lee and Vera McGaughey; and numerous uncles and aunts.

Terry is survived by his mother, Mildred Dey of Glendive; two brothers, Wayne (Tracy) Dey and Todd Dey, all of Glendive; a sister, Tamara Dey of Glendive; nieces, Michella Dey (David Emly), Mattea Dey (Tyrell Peyatt) and Tylee Dey, all of Glendive; nephews, Tanner Dey and Bryce Dey of Glendive and Justin Pizano of Billings; great-niece, Olivia Dey; great-nephews, Oliver and Oscar Emly; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
