We need Kathleen Williams in Washington

Thursday, October 8, 2020

Dear Editor:

I was pleased to attend a gathering last week here in Glendive where the candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, Kathleen Williams, spoke of her concerns for Montana. She addressed many of my questions and I support her bid for election. (1) her deep concern for veterans and their many needs such as medical, nursing homes, and homelessness; (2) she loves Montana and will fight for the public lands we all treasure; (3) working for Social Security, Medicare and affordable health care for all people including those with pre-existing conditions. Her two terms in the Montana State legislature was where she helped Montanans through the recession and helped to bring jobs to the state. We need Kathleen Williams in Washington, D.C.

“Her nearly four-decade career in natural resources and public service traverses the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Throughout her career she has worked with people of all political stripes to find win-win solutions to Montana’s most pressing problems including healthcare, job creation, and Montana’s outdoor heritage.” (Williams web page)
