Whether we like it or not, we do not define sin
Hate? Bigotry? Really?
I read MS. Disch letter to the editor last week. Interesting.
Scripture commands Christians to stand up and speak against evil. Whether people agree with scripture or not. Scripture is God’s word.
Mr. Squire’s crime was to quote scripture. Like it or not God defines sin. We are to love our neighbor and love one another. Jesus gave us the example. When Jesus met the woman at the well He associated with a sinner. He gave her Living Water and told her go and sin no more. Jesus always associated with sinners to bring them out of their sin, NOT for Him to engage in their sin. “Brethren if anyone among you wonders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sin” James 5: 19-20
