Wonders surround us

Dear Editor,

In response to Avis Anderson’s column on Sunday, August 18, 2019, (“News out of the capitol explosive, senseless”), her remarks about Makoshika State Park is right on the mark. Pat Lovaas (of Glendive) and I have just finished a trip around the United States. The beauty I have seen in Makoshika Park and all of the lands around Glendive does reflect the beauty all around us in every corner of the United States.

Pat and I have seen the beauty of the Niagara Falls, dived into the depths of the Carlsbad Caverns surrounded by its wonderous formations, looked into its fathomless depths of the Grand Canyon, peered into the heights of the majestic and ageless red woods, and swam in the piercing blue waters of the Crater Lake. The beauty of Glendive’s Yellowstone River and Makoshika State Park match all of those wonderous places.

Thank you Ms. Anderson for reminding us of the wonders that surround us all, wherever you live. It is a marvelous world in which we live.

Sincerely,

Henry Inabnett
